My top list of anime

I am an anime lover. I started to love anime ever since the first time I watched d.gray-man which was broadcast on local singapore tv channel. So you can say that d.gray-man is my favourite anime. So far, I’ve watched quite a list of anime.

My ranking:

1!

Gintama

Many of you may feel surprised why my top anime is not d.gray-man. This is because I just love the comedy and action in gintama. Hideaki Sorachi is really a prodigy, being able to incorporate comedy as well as create touching moments worth remembering. Great anime to watch and very enjoyable.

2!

Code Geass

Amazing storyline, a lot of twists. Season one started it all, and season two did not disappoint. Kind of like “death note”, the main character Lelouch is really smart and scheming. Also with mechs, so mecha fans you will be in for a treat.

D.gray-man

Nice storyline. Was hooked on after watching the first few episodes, very touching. And a lot of morals and deep meaning to it. Love the characters as well as their weapons. however, recently it becomes kind of draggy. and the author seems to be out of ideas, and she seems to be feeling unwell. so i hope she will get well soon.

Lucky Star

Very fun and enjoyable to watch. Never get tired of it, love the jokes as well as the cute tsukasa. Nice series with a lot of references to other anime, like gintama. If you are looking for a “relaxed” anime to watch, this is the anime you should watch.

Full Metal Panic

A good series with romance,mecha and action. First season and third season are more serious, with fighting. Whereas second season focuses more on the school life. Very enjoyable and I hope for a next season.

Eureka Seven

Love story as well as mecha theme. Very touching and memorable. Love the opening songs as well as ending songs.

Soul Eater

The three main characters all have unique personalities. Very funny series, and the future seems bright for it. Very addicting storyline and must-watch anime this year.

Katekyō Hitman Reborn!

A long series to watch. Typical shonen anime but I love it. It has a lot of potential too, but the fanbase is really small. Cute characters such as reborn, lambo and i-pin.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha

Anime that I watch in dub instead of japanese. Nice series but different from other magical girl series. So fans of magical girls, you should watch this.

Bleach or Naruto

Two of the most popular series, I am in a dilemma. Very very long series, a lot of fillers arcs in the anime. However the manga is still pretty good, i still do read the manga.

So this concludes my list of the best for now, i believe i will do another one in the future.
